The last few days...

Daniel and I have done a ton of things over the past couple of days. In fact, so much that its hard to keep track of what! And even harder to write about it all...

I only have a few minutes before we leave to visit the Catacombs (which I’m not too excited about because I get freaked out way too easily, but Daniel convinced me!) But here are some pictures of what we’ve done...

We went to the top of the Eiffel Tower on Monday... It was freezing! And actually pretty cloudy so we didn’t get the best view...

The following day we went to Notre Dame. We waited in line to take the stairs to the roof, but decided against it because the very top was closed. After that, we went to St. Chapelle - it was really cool, but the stained glass was under restoration so we didn't get to see the entire thing, and it was also surprisingly small.

The Conciergie was our next stop, as its right beside St. Chapelle. They're partnering with the museum of film, so there was a film exhibition in the main space, which was pretty interesting. We also saw Marie Antionette's jail cell and chapel, a list of all the people imprisoned during the Revolution, and the garden where prisoners waited to be taken to the guillotine!

Then we had a crepe for lunch in Luxembourg Gardens, went to the post office to pick up some mail, had dinner at home, and then went to see a concert at the Paris Opera House!

Daniel went on a solo mission to the see the Louvre yesterday morning, and I met up with him later. We had lunch and just walked around the city. We went to Lauduree later in the afternoon and had the best pastries ever! I even think they're better than Pierre Herme's, if that's possible!
